175 Lo Boy Kettle The 175 Lo-Boy features benefits from the same CAD designed advancements as the 115 Lo-Boy except that you now have the ability to pump to the roof. Our 22 gpm submerged pump recirculates asphalt inside the kettle to maintain a consistent temperature and reduce heat-up times. Powered by a 5 hp Briggs & Stratton engine our pump system will pump up to 75' high. A 5.5 Honda engine is an optional accessory. Torsion axle technology lowers the center of gravity and eliminates problems with leaf springs, U-bolts or shackles that can rust and wear out. Maintenance-free rubber dampening bars inside the axle beam act as shock absorbers to provide a smoother, safer ride. Torsion axles allow wheels to react independently to minimize rocking over rough terrain unlike leaf spring axles which create a rocking effect.
