The CageGuard Protector Skylight Guard is the perfect fast-install, low-cost solution to guarding skylights and temporary roof openings. Free-standing, non-penetrating design allows every company the ability to install an OSHA compliant barrier wihtout the need for specialty contractors, penetrating the roof membrane or compromising the skylight structure by fastening a mechanically attached permanent system. Free-standing standard model features adjustable height legs with 114 mph wind uplift rating. System features complete no-touch protection with Category 2 Hurricane rating.

Optional slip-on stack plate kits can be added to Skylight Guards. Each kit adds 18 mph of wind rating per layer of plates added. Four layers of stack plates raise wind rating to 185 mph, far exceeding Category 5 Hurricane winds. System features complete no-touch protection. In addition to stack plate kits, 108 lb. cast iron base plates used with our RailGuard systems is another no-touch, heavy-duty mounting option. These bases offer the highest wind rating available.

Even unweighted systems stay in place in extreme wind conditions. Combined with our standoff kit or weighted bases, the set-in-place CageGuard Skylight system performs like permanent models.
