products are a new initiative started at Garlock designed to update product designs of "older" products that were designed ten or fifteen years ago with today's manufacturing and design capabilities. By re-looking at all of our product designs, often times we can find ways to improve designs and efficiency in manufacturing by utilizing our high-tech CAD computers and CNC machining and fabrication capabilities.

The primary challenge of the projects is to maintain or improve the quality and/or function of a product which Garlock's reputation is known for while reducing costs; this combination is not always an easy target." When we reach our goals the result can be a drastic reduction in manufacturing costs and resulting cost savings being passed onto our customers.
